Iron Bark Lake

We found another lake in our area! This one is at The Ponds; a suburb quite close to us. We did some book shopping at the nearby Rouse Hill yesterday, before going in search of a worthy photoshoot area. Iron Bark Lake was that 🙂

Do have a look at my husband Ray’s beautiful images! You’ll find them at http://www.rayscam.com

Doonside Park

Last week we spent the afternoon with my nephew Nick.  We took him to The Creative Spirit Centre where we all bought some lovely crystals. Then on the way to dinner at our favourite café at Nadia’s at Westpoint, we went in search of a place for a photoshoot and stumbled across this park quite by accident; we took a wrong turn 😉 Nick enjoys photography too and I gave him my camera while I used my phone’s camera. Here are our results; I chose a few of Nick’s to put on here this week 🙂

We managed to squeeze in an hour last Friday, after my shift and went in search of a place with some water. We found one; it also had ducks, geese, and a fountain 🙂 Here are my 12 favourites (couldn’t choose just 10) 😉

Richmond From The Car

’twas a wee bit wet last Good Friday when we schlepped on over to the Blue Mountains to photograph the Leura Cascades… We ended up having lunch at one of the very busy cafés and decided to sit out the rain…to no avail. So there was nothing else to do but head back home. We thought we could try Penrith Lakes (from the car; as suggested by our friend Marietta), but there was no way of getting to them. We found ourselves at Richmond and decided to take some images in this historical town…from the car 😉 Here they are!
